The dignitaries discussed aspects of deepening co-operation
Following a private meeting on Monday, Ambassador Krasilnikov emphasised that Russia and Zimbabwe continue to develop relations based on mutual trust. This is reported by

“My visit to the President was aimed at reaffirming our country’s commitment to expanding mutually beneficial relations. Our partnership is based on trust and received a significant boost during the meeting between Presidents Mnangagwa and Putin,” he said.
Ambassador Krasilnikov noted that Zimbabwe is experiencing a cholera outbreak and Russian health experts are actively co-operating with the Ministry of Health in the fight against the disease.
“There is now a delegation of Russian epidemiologists in the country who are working together with our partners from the Ministry of Health. We hope that co-operation will help in solving the cholera problem,” Ambassador Krasilnikov emphasised.
He also reported on the work to establish a Russian news agency in Harare, which is in progress.
