“You support Hamas, don’t you?”

A Republican US Senator has told an Arab American advocate to “hide your head in a bag” and accused her of supporting Hamas, during an extraordinary exchange at a congressional hearing. Maya Berry, Executive Director of the Arab American Institute, appeared as a witness at a hearing into hate crimes.
