The Russian House in Buenos Aires, Argentina, hosted the presentation of the World Youth Festival, which will be held from 1 to 7 March 2024 in Sochi, as reported by BRICSLat, a partner of TV BRICS.

The festival is to promote international exchange and cooperation through education, culture and sport.

“We unite young people with different interests and backgrounds, but with common ideas. We believe that the festival will become a great platform not only for establishing friendly ties, but also for mutual enrichment of cultures and traditions of different nations,” said Olga Muratova, director of the Russian House in Buenos Aires.

The festival will host 10 thousand Russians and 10 thousand foreigners aged 18 to 35. There are 110 places allocated for Argentina.

“It’s a fair and open process. It doesn’t matter where you live, study or what activity you do, if you are in the age category indicated, you can apply and become part of this unique international event,” said Lucas Adrian Garcia, President of the Argentine National Preparatory Committee.
