World Bank improves its growth forecast for UAE economy

In its January forecast, the UAE’s GDP growth in 2024 was 3.7 per cent

The UAE’s real gross domestic product (GDP) will grow by 3.9 per cent in 2024 and increase to 4.1 per cent in 2025, the World Bank said in its World Economic Outlook report.

In January, the World Bank forecast that the UAE’s GDP would rise by 3.7 per cent in 2024. The MENA region is expected to grow 2.8 per cent in 2024 and 4.2 per cent in 2025. This is reported by
Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.

The real GDP of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states will increase by 2.8 per cent in 2024 and 4.7 per cent in 2025.

Oil-exporting economies are projected to grow by 2.9 per cent.
