Winners of the Partitura competition for young composers are announced
40 best works were selected from more than a thousand works of participants
The winners of the III All-Russian Competition of Young Composers “Partitura” have been announced. TV BRICS is the media partner of the event.
This year the main themes of the competition were Russian history and Russian literature. The organising committee received a record 1,094 applications from 101 locations in Russia and selected 40 of the best works.

From 8 September to 14 October at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatoire. Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory will host auditions for the finalists. The jury will then determine the winners in eight categories:
“Symphonic work of large form”;
“Symphonic work of small form”;
“Ballet Music”;
“Opera”;
“Film Music”;
“Work for one or more instruments/voices with orchestra”;
“Variety and symphonic work, operetta music and musical”;
“Choral Music”.
The winning works will be recorded in a recording studio and sent to music libraries and educational institutions in Russia.
The “Partitura” competition has been running since 2020. It is organised by the Foundation for Innovative Development of Culture, Education, Science (FIRCON) with the participation of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Orpheus Radio Symphony Orchestra (a partner of TV BRICS), the Union of Composers of Russia and with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
