The UAE has announced a transformative high-speed train project linking Abu Dhabi and Dubai, further cementing its position as a global leader in innovative and sustainable transportation. This is reported by

The high-speed train will enable travel between Abu Dhabi and Dubai in just 30 minutes, with trains reaching speeds of up to 350 km/h.

Passing through strategic destinations and tourist hotspots, the project aims to provide seamless connectivity while enhancing the quality of life for residents, citizens, and visitors. This state-of-the-art transport system will contribute significantly to the UAE’s socioeconomic and tourism development, aligning with the objectives of the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy.

With the first four passenger rail stations announced in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and Fujairah, the integrated rail network will improve accessibility and foster socioeconomic growth.

This initiative is expected to contribute US$39.15 billion to the UAE’s GDP over the next five decades, boosting investment opportunities and supporting key sectors such as logistics and tourism, the source claims.
