UAE strengthens its position as world leader in modern medicine
11 March marks the annual Emirati Doctor’s Day
Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, emphasised the key role of Emirati doctors in the national healthcare system. This is reported by
Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.
Al Olama noted that Emirati doctors contribute immensely to the development of a world-class healthcare system that meets the highest international standards.
“They [doctors – ed.] have consistently demonstrated steadfast commitment to their country and society, contributing their knowledge and skills to the development of a world-class healthcare system that aligns with the highest international standards,” he said.
He emphasised that Emirati Doctor’s Day is not only a recognition of the exceptional dedication of doctors, but also a reaffirmation of commitment to investing in medical.
Al Olama also noted that thanks to the government’s unlimited support for doctors, there has been significant progress in the healthcare sector, strengthening the UAE’s position as a world leader in modern medicine.
