The book is the result of five years of research into marine life
A new book has been published on the whales and dolphins that inhabit the region in the UAE emirate of Fujairah. It is the result of many years of research and combines scientific knowledge of marine mammals with the particularities of Fujairah’s fauna. This is reported by

The book details the diversity of whales and dolphins found in the Emirate’s waters and explores their interactions with humans, including fishing, shipping and tourism. It emphasises the importance of protecting the marine environment and raises awareness of the need to conserve it.
The authors of the book, conducted research over five years, including active observations at sea. They found that Fujairah is home to many species of dolphins, sea turtles, sea snakes and seabirds, as well as other marine life.
