UAE opens Seamless Middle East 2024 exhibition

The exhibition is dedicated to the achievements of the Middle East countries in the field of innovative technologies

The event aligns with the “Seamless Middle East 2024” and corresponds to the “Arab Digital Economy Vision”, which was first announced in December 2018 in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This is reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.

Participants were briefed on the establishment of the Arab Artificial Intelligence Programme, designed to foster innovation, offer industry-specific solutions, and enhance access to Arabic-language information.

The meeting was attended by representatives from the United Arab Emirates, ambassadors from Arab and Western nations, digital economy experts, and representatives of various Arab unions and organisations operating under the League of Arab States.

The event attracted significant regional and international participation, with more than 25,000 officials from the public and private sectors representing over 5,000 organisations from 130 countries. The conference featured over 500 speakers engaging in 200 seminars and lectures, with 400 startups and over 720 foreign companies in attendance.

The conference will cover topics such as digital banking services, digital identity, financial technology, digital currencies, electronic and digital payments, and e-commerce, as well as various digital industry subjects such as retail, logistics, e-marketing, and digital banking.
