The session of the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organisation ends in Jeddah
The meeting was devoted to education, culture, and science
During the two-day event, Arab officials discussed initiatives and proposals related to knowledge sharing, scientific progress, and innovation at the Arab League Educational, Cultural, and Scientific Organisation (ALECSO).
One of the priorities of the meeting was to review the curricula and adjust them to reflect current realities and anticipate future needs.
In an exclusive interview with
Arab News, Mohammed Walad Amar, the director general of ALECSO, stated that the purpose of this meeting is to approve the organisation’s budget for the next two years and approve its selected projects based on the proposals and needs of Arab countries.
This will allow for a true acceleration of the achievement of the organization’s major objectives in the areas of information technology, education, and culture, as well as in other areas that Arab nations deem important.
Other topics discussed during the two-day session, organised by the Saudi National Committee for Education, Culture, and Science, included the challenges faced by Arab countries in the field of education, culture, and science, innovative solutions to these problems, and ways to establish new partnerships that can expand the horizons of cooperation for education and creative thinking.
