The agrochemical sector in India to be expanded by 9%

India’s exports are increasing

According to a survey by analytical services provider, India’s agrochemical business, which is presently valued at approximately US$10 billion, is expected to reach more than US$14.5 billion by the conclusion of the 2027–2028 fiscal year. This is reported by
ANI, a partner of TV BRICS.

India is currently the world’s second-largest exporter of agrochemicals. The source claims that this consistent rise highlights India’s expanding significance in the world market for agrochemical exports.

The source further states that in order to boost homegrown production, the Indian government has implemented a number of policies, such as designating agrochemicals as one of the top 12 industries and limiting the importation of unregistered pesticide formulations.
