In honour of the 15th United Nations Chinese Language Day, an exhibition opened in Cape Town, South Africa. This is reported by

This event showcased over 70 pieces of unique oracle bone script art, a result of a three-year collaboration between oracle bone script experts, picture book experts, and typography design experts.

The aim of this exhibition is to deepen understanding and respect for diverse cultures through art. The works of 10 young artists from the renowned Central Academy of Fine Arts cover topics ranging from astronomy to mythology, demonstrating the influence of ancient traditions on modern thinking.

The exhibition also showcased indigenous South African cave paintings dating back to the Late Stone Age, which are renowned for their depth and detail. These works depict people, deities and animals, emphasising the importance of the heritage of indigenous cultures in the formation of society.

The exhibition will continue until 5 May, inviting everyone to take a journey through times and cultures.
