The importance of joint efforts to combat environmental challenges in the MENA region was emphasised by the Saudi Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman Al-Fadli.

At a meeting of the Arab Organisation for Agricultural Development in Riyadh, he discussed the importance of biodiversity conservation, efficient use of natural resources and the need for joint initiatives for sustainable development. This is reported by
