‘Remarks of blacks being marginalised stems from current reality’

Political analyst Sipho Seepe, says the uMkhonto weSizwe Party leader Jacob Zuma‘s argument that black people are marginalised stems from the current reality of millions unemployed and poor South Africans.

Zuma says it is possible for black political parties to unite to get two-thirds majority and take back the country.

He was speaking at a rally to celebrate the party’s first anniversary at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

MK Party celebrates its first anniversary:

Seepe says Zuma highlighted the escalation of poverty among black people.

“The fact that the colour of poverty is black, colour of unemployment is black is the basis on which Jacob Zuma, including the people like EFF saying on the bases of our experience. Let us find common course. So what you have there is two types of contradictions, you have what you call within the parties themselves of parties that say we go this route, we want to see total economic emancipation – maybe what you may call friendly contradictions.”
