The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police will be investigating the case against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, who has been accused of injuring two Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs at the Parliament complex, an officer said.
Besides, a counter-case filed by the Congress against members of the ruling BJP will also be probed by the crime branch, the officer added.
On Thursday, a face-off at the Parliament entry steps between the Opposition and National Democratic Alliance (NDA) MPs in Parliament premises over the alleged insult to B R Ambedkar left former minister Pratap Chandra Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput injured.
