In addition, at the World Government Summit in Dubai in mid-February, Minister of Economy of the UAE Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri and the Republic’s Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto agreed to increase bilateral trade to US$10 billion a year. According to the Indonesian Ministry of Economy, the trade turnover between the countries reached US$5 billion by the end of 2024.
