The project involves 48 Russian and 41 foreign photographers from BRICS countries

The National Centre for the Performing Arts in Mumbai (India) will be the venue for the international opening of the BRICS Universe project exhibition. The exhibition will feature photographs of UNESCO’s creative cities located in the BRICS countries, taken both from the ground and from space.

The BRICS Universe photographic exhibition includes unique images taken by the Heroes of the Russian Federation, cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Ivan Wagner from the International Space Station. This is reported by Jahnit Times, a partner of TV BRICS.

These photographs capture the colours, emotions, secrets, events, heritage and majesty of nature. The project involves 48 Russian and 41 foreign photographers from the BRICS countries.

The first opening of the exhibition took place in the
Museum of Cosmonautics in Moscow, then it continued its journey, visiting St. Petersburg (Russia), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Kargopol (Russia), Beijing (China), Nizhny Novgorod and Ulyanovsk (Russia).

So far the exhibition has attracted about 200,000 visitors and there are no plans to stop there, as after Mumbai it is expected to be held in Cape Town (South Africa) and Kazan (Russia).
