One of the EAEU’s tasks is to ensure the entry into force of a full-fledged Free Trade Agreement with Iran

website of the Russian Government.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin emphasised that one of the competitive advantages of the Eurasian Economic Union is its openness to mutually beneficial and equal cooperation with all interested countries.
“I am convinced that it is necessary to expand ties with the CIS, SCO, ASEAN, BRICS, individual states of Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America”

“This is very important, especially given the interest of our Iranian partners in deepening interaction with the Eurasian Economic Union. We welcome this intention and invite Iran to constructive dialogue and expansion of practical cooperation.”
Mishustin emphasised that agreements with Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia are also being worked out.
