Moscow to host the V Digital Diplomacy Forum
From 29 November to 2 December, Moscow will host the V Digital Diplomacy Forum in conjunction with the Russia International Exhibition and Forum at VDNKh. The event will focus on the development of digital technologies and their impact on the world.
The project is organised by the World of Youth Samara regional community-based organisation together with the Government of the Samara Region and the financial support by the Gorchakov Fund.
TV BRICS is an international media partner of the 5th Digital Diplomacy Forum.
As part of the event, leading Russian and foreign experts will share their assessment of the world’s major events in the field of digitalisation, predict trends in the development of this sphere in 2024 and try to answer questions that concern young people around the world. The anniversary forum will summarise the results of the development of digital society over the past five years.
On Friday, 1 December, Ksenia Komissarova, Editor-in-Chief of TV BRICS, will moderate the panel session “The image of the country in the digital space: how to build and how to promote?”.
Among the issues to be addressed by the participants and experts:
– opportunities for preserving national identity on the Internet;
– the impact of digitalisation on the media;
– key trends in the field of artificial intelligence;
– challenges of international information security;
– the impact of foreign policy on the digital world;
– the roles of the individual and the state in the new technological era;
– regional aspects of digitalisation;
– the impact of digitalisation on the economy.
The speakers at the conference will be representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media, Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs, media outlets, leading think tanks, as well as specialists in political science, international relations, and IT industry.
The forum will be attended by representatives of the Asia-Pacific region, CIS countries, the Balkan Peninsula and Russia.
