Over 50 million Ethiopians could benefit from the impending Summer Voluntarism Service, according to government officials in Ethiopia who are spearheading a massive mobilization push. This is reported by

The goal of the national campaign, which goes by the slogan “Benevolence and Unity for Ethiopia’s Ascendance”, is to use community service that is strongly ingrained in Ethiopian culture and customs to promote a sense of unity and progress as a nation.

The planned national summer volunteer events are anticipated to include over 39 million participants.

The program, according to the source, will address essential businesses such as food delivery, education and health support, and tree planting operations.
