Modi launch several development projects in the state of Rajasthan
They will have a transformative impact on infrastructure, connectivity and education in the region
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched several development projects to the value of 7 million rupees ($841,400) in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. He said they will have a transformative impact on the region’s infrastructure, connectivity and education.
The Prime Minister dedicated the Mehsana – Bhatinda – Gurdaspur Gas Pipeline, which cost around $540.7 million, to the nation. The Indian politician also launched railway projects, including the Chittorgarh – Neemuch Railway line doubling and the Kota – Chittorgarh Electrified Railway line. He also gave the go-ahead to the construction of tourism facilities set up in Nathdwara under the Ministry of Tourism’s Swadesh Darshan Scheme.
Modi said development of backward areas was his government’s priority. He said the government has selected promising regions of the country where development work is underway. He said many districts of Rajasthan are also being developed under the scheme.
The Prime Minister said that as part of reaching out to the unprotected and underprivileged sections, the government has also launched Vibrant Village programme for development of border villages, as reported by the official website of the Government of India.
