The African National Congress (ANC) has confirmed that former Finance Minister and Reserve Bank Governor, Tito Mboweni will be buried on Saturday.
The funeral service will be held in Sasekani outside Tzaneen.
The funeral service will be followed by the burial in Magoebaskloof.
ANC General Secretary Fikile Mbalula says, “We are here to pass our condolences to the Mboweni family. The funeral will be on Saturday, it has been declared a state funeral. I don’t know which category in Tzaneen in Limpopo. We are discussing with the family the plans as the ANC to have a memorial service to celebrate the life of comrade Tito. we will do it maybe after the funeral so that we get the right speakers and also proper planning.”
Today, the ANC Secretary General, Cde Fikile Mbalula led an ANC delegation to visit and extend their condolences to the family of Comrade Tito Mboweni.
His legacy of dedication, innovation, and service will remain a guiding light for generations to come.
