Leaders of Egypt and UAE discuss strengthening economic ties between two countries at meeting in Abu Dhabi
They paid special attention to regional issues
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi held talks with his UAE counterpart Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during a working visit to Abu Dhabi. This was stated by the
press service of the Egyptian leader.
The main topic of the meeting was the strengthening of bilateral relations and expansion of cooperation in the spheres of economy and investment, as reported by
Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.
In addition, the heads of state focused on regional issues of mutual interest.
In recent years, Egypt and the UAE have intensified their cooperation in various fields. For example, in October, Al-Sisi and Al Nahyan launched a project to develop the city of Ras Al-Hekma, located in the western part of Egypt’s northern coast. Total investment in the project totalled US$110 billion.
