Leaders of China and Indonesia sign bilateral agreements
Indonesian President pays state visit to China
Xi Jinping, President of China, and Indonesian leader Prabowo Subianto held talks in Beijing.
Xi noted the intention to build a future with regional and global influence and strengthen ties among developing countries through solidarity and cooperation.
Chinese President called for strengthening strategic trust between the two countries’ leaderships, as well as enhancing exchanges at the government and local government levels. He emphasised the need for cooperation in key areas: politics, economy, cultural exchanges and security. This is reported by

The leaders discussed projects under the Belt and Road Initiative, including the Jakarta-Bandung high-speed railway and cooperation in the digital economy, healthcare and poverty alleviation. Prabowo expressed his hope for further co-operation with China in light, emphasising the importance of strategic partnership to enhance global influence.
Prabowo added that Indonesia is willing to enhance coordination with China in such multilateral frameworks as the G20, to make positive contributions to safeguarding the common interests of the Global South and promoting a multi-polar world.
Following the meetings, the presidents signed a series of agreements on joint development, the blue economy, water resources protection and mineral reserves, further strengthening bilateral relations.
