Iran’s total trade grows by 9.4% increase

Exports from Iran reached $12.3 billion in the September quarter

Iran’s non-oil trade has seen a significant increase in the quarter ending September. This is reported by
Mehr News Agency , a partner of TV BRICS.

Figures released by the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture on Monday showed that Iran’s total trade with other countries in the three months to September 21  reached US$30.6 billion, marking a 9.4 per cent increase from the same period last year.

Iran’s exports reached US$12.3 billion in the first quarter, representing a 6.2 per cent increase from the previous year. Imports into the country grew by 11.6 per cent over the same period, reaching US$18.3 billion.

The data revealed a peak in Iran’s exports in August, with shipments up by 18 per cent compared to the same month last year, hitting US$4.47 billion. Imports also saw a 21.6 per cent rise in the same month, reaching US$6.4 billion.
