Iran’s exports to the Islamic countries grow by 17%

It is noted that the growth is due to the strengthening of the countries’ unified approach to cooperation

Iran’s exports to Islamic countries have increased by 17 percent since the beginning of the current year according to the Iranian calendar (since March 20). This was announced by Mahdi Eslampanah, head of the National Standard Organisation.

He was speaking at the 18th National Quality Awards ceremony. The event was attended by members of the Iranian parliament, heads of industrial chambers, entrepreneurs and quality experts. This is reported by
IRNA, a partner of TV BRICS.

Eslampanah emphasised that the achievement was due to efforts to promote foreign trade and strengthen the unified approach of states towards cooperation. He also noted that Iran has made significant achievements in standardisation, which has contributed to improving export performance.

He said the National Quality Award was created specifically to meet the needs of Iran and the countries of the Islamic world.
