Iran ranks first in the field of neural network development among Islamic countries
In total, the ranking includes 29 Islamic states with 270 universities
According to official data, Iran ranks first in the development of neural network technologies as well as multi-agent systems among Islamic countries. This is reported by
Tehran Times, a partner of TV BRICS.
Analysts note that in the field of neural networks in the Republic, there is a tendency to increase scientific publications, from 950 documents in 2014 to 2207 documents in 2023. Over the past 20 years, most scientific developments in the field of artificial intelligence have been associated with the University of Tehran, Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, and Amirkabir University of Technology.
Compared to other countries in the world, the Republic ranks 6th in neural network technologies and 12th in multi-agent systems.
The country also ranked 16th in the world in artificial intelligence technologies, 25th in visual computing and natural language processing, 17th in machine learning, and 27th in robotics.
