Indian students promote digital market strategies for growing multiple crops to double farmers’ income
Students grew crops even in temperatures as low as 46 degrees Celsius
Students of an agriculture college have put into practice a system of growing multiple crops on a small piece of land to double farmers’ income. This is reported by
ANI, a partner of TV BRICS.
The students harvested various vegetables on 38 hectares of land in Kendra despite weather fluctuations.
According to the students, selling crops through digital platforms is both rewarding and less burdensome.
Through this initiative, it has been learned that multiple crops can be grown on a single piece of land, which can help double the income of farmers.
Through the “digitalization of the market,” farmers can communicate directly with buyers, which helps reduce the cost of growing crops.
