Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emphasised the importance of technological advancement and investment, saying the country has made strides in a host of new technologies including space, semiconductors, electronic devices and electric vehicles.
Addressing a conference under the Rozgar Mela initiative, Modi said India is moving towards the status of the world’s third largest economy. This is reported by

He also emphasised the importance of the “Make in India” initiative, which helps promote new technologies in different sectors.

Modi said that over 150,000 startups have been registered in India in the last eight years, making the country the third largest startup ecosystem in the world, and added that youth engagement is providing growing opportunities in various sectors.
Modi spoke about the migration and employment agreements signed with 21 countries, which will provide more opportunities for Indian youth to work and study abroad.
