India hosts workshop on energy sustainability in BRICS+ countries

The outcome of the workshop will be an edited book to be published in 2025

As part of the South African Durban University of Technology (DUT), a partner of TV BRICS, Faculty of Management Sciences, BRICS Research Institute Project supported by the NIHSS, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) hosted an Energy Resilience and Sustainability in BRICS Plus Nations – A Policy Analysis Perspective workshop in Gujarat, India.

The events were attended by expert professors and dignitaries from India, Russia, South Africa and Ethiopia.

The seminar titled “Energy Sustainability and Stability in BRICS Plus Countries – Perspectives on Policy Analysis” featured extensive discussions and presentations on energy policy and sustainability.

Key presentations focused on nuclear energy co-operation, sustainable energy transitions and the financial implications of these transitions for BRICS Plus countries.

Yenesew Alene Belew, Assistant Professor of Tourism, University of Gondar (Ethiopia) thanked the organisers for their events and fruitful work: ”Once again, thank you for your exceptional work. I’m looking forward to welcoming you all to Ethiopia.”

PDEU is a premier educational institution in Gujarat, focusing on energy and allied sectors.
