India fixes record pass rate of school students in exams
The Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) today announced the results of the much-awaited Indian School Certificate (ISC) and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) examinations. 99.47 per cent of ICSE students and 98.19 per cent of ISC students have passed their exams.
The ICSE examination was taken by 2,43,617 pupils, of whom 2,42,328 successfully passed. Among them, 1,30,506 boys passed the ICSE exam and 1,13,111 girls also passed the exam. It is noteworthy that the pass percentage among boys is 53.57 per cent and among girls it is 46.43 per cent. This is reported by

In the ICSE exam, out of 2695 schools, 82.48 per cent (2223) students passed the exam out of 2695 schools. Meanwhile, in the ISC exam, about 66.18 per cent (904) out of 1,366 schools achieved a perfect 100 per cent result.
The ICSE exams, held over 18 days from 21 February to 28 March, comprised 60 written subjects, including Indian and foreign languages. The ISC examinations, held for 28 days from 12 February to 4 April, consisted of 47 written subjects comprising various languages.
Outstanding performance was witnessed in schools abroad, particularly in Indonesia, Singapore and Dubai, where many schools achieved a perfect 100 per cent result in the ICSE and ISC examinations.
