A helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi made a hard landing near the city of Verzegan. This was reported by
IRNA, a partner of TV BRICS.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and several other officials were also in the helicopter.
The head of Iran’s Interior Ministry confirmed the incident with the presidential helicopter. He also specified that the emergency occurred due to fog and the terrain makes access to the place difficult.
Rescue teams have reached the area where the Iranian president’s helicopter made a hard landing.
