Facilities for first Gulf Youth Games in UAE are 100 per cent ready
Five emirates will host the competition
The Organising Committee of the first Gulf Youth Games has announced that sports facilities in five host emirates – Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman and Fujairah – are fully ready to host the event. This is reported by

The Games will be held in the UAE from 16 April to 2 May and will feature 3,500 male and female athletes from across the GCC. Participants in the event will compete in 25 individual and team sports. The motto of the Games is “Our Gulf is One. Our Youth is Promising.”
Abu Dhabi will host competitions in football, swimming, judo, cycling, sailing, jiu-jitsu and boxing. Dubai will host table tennis, athletics, volleyball, cyber sports and golf.
Sharjah will host competitions in basketball, handball, karate, chess, archery, equestrian disciplines and cycling. In Fujairah, taekwondo, fencing and badminton, while Ajman will host triathlon.
