Experts expect a trade surplus in Brazil-China relations in 2024
Brazil exported more than $100 billion to China last year
Brazilian exports to China reached a significant milestone, surpassing the $100 billion mark in 2023, resulting in a record bilateral trade surplus of $51.1 billion.
The amount was more than half of Brazil’s total trade surplus ($98.8 billion in the same period). This is reported by
Brasil247, a partner of the TV BRICS.
Economist Lucas Barbosa highlighted the diversification of the export programme, including animal proteins and corn, the traditional soybeans, oil and iron ore.
