Egypt’s finance minister reveals plans to boost economy
Egyptian Finance Minister, Ahmed Kouchouk, has announced a number of government initiatives aimed at boosting the national economy. This is reported by
Daily News Egypt, a partner of TV BRICS.
During a recent Scientific Association for Tax Legislation conference, Kuchouk highlighted three main areas of focus: strengthening cooperation with the private sector, promoting the transition to clean energy and launching a programme to boost export activities.
“We, alongside the business community, are partners in enhancing the competitiveness of the Egyptian economy and achieving robust growth,” he stated
The Minister have announced the initial phase of tax reduction measures. The steps are aimed at improving the quality of tax services, improving cash flow for companies and encouraging investment.
In addition, the Finance Minister revealed plans for upcoming tax and customs incentive packages that will benefit both citizens and investors.
Kouchouk reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting the industrial sector and promoting clean energy initiatives in line with the goals of sustainable development and innovation.
