Egyptian government meeting focuses on boosting exports
A meeting at the government headquarters in the new administrative capital discussed strategies to enhance the competitiveness of Egyptian goods and expand their global reach. This is reported by

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly outlined plans to increase exports to US$100 billion a year by 2030, emphasising efforts to develop Egyptian products and provide investment incentives.
Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir outlined export support initiatives launched between 2019 and 2023, which will increase non-oil exports by 40 per cent. Discussions were also held on evaluating the effectiveness of the existing export support system and providing additional technical and technological assistance to exporting companies.
Prime Minister Madbouly emphasised the importance of timely reimbursement of Egyptian exporters for their costs to stimulate growth.
