Egypt seeks to lead UNESCO with ancient history and major advances in science

Egypt’s former Minister of Antiquities has announced the news

Former Egyptian Minister of Antiquities Khaled El-Enany, who is a candidate for the post of Director-General of UNESCO, has presented his plans to run the organisation. He noted that Egypt’s rich history and diverse heritage are its main strengths. This is reported by

He expressed confidence in the success of his appointment to this important international post, stressing the strong support of the Egyptian government and neighbouring countries.

Khaled El-Enany believes that with the support of his partners and friends both in the region and internationally, he has a good chance of succeeding in the race.
