Egypt and UAE explore ways to develop co-operation in the health sector
The two countries’ line ministers met on the margins of the Arab Health Exhibition
Egyptian Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar met with his Emirati counterpart Abdul Rahman Al Owais on the margins of the Arab Health Exhibition, which was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, said they discussed opportunities to enhance co-operation in training in the latest medical technologies and digital health. This is reported by

The meeting also discussed developing partnerships in the fields of medical research, pharmaceutical industry, medical products and supplies and localisation of the Arab pharmaceutical industry.
Abdel Ghaffar added that the ministers also reviewed the achievements of the two countries in the fields of human and animal health, food and water safety, and climate change. They also discussed co-operation in preventing and monitoring infectious diseases.
In addition, the meeting touched upon public health and digital transformation.
