Egypt and the UAE promote mutual agricultural investment programme

The cooperation may cover ivestock production, poultry production, and fish processing

The Egyptian Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Alaa Farouk, met with the Ambassador of the UAE to Egypt, Mariam Khalifa Al Kaabi, to discuss opportunities for expanding joint projects in the agricultural field. This is reported by
Daily News Egypt, a partner of TV BRICS. 

Egypt is inviting the UAE to invest in agricultural production that will increase profitability, create new jobs, and boost the development of local technologies. 

Particular emphasis is placed on exchanging experience in livestock and poultry farming, as well as joint projects to breed highly productive animals. 

The source notes that agricultural cooperation could cover livestock, poultry, fish processing, and packaging.

Such collaboration would mutually benefit both countries by improving food security and stimulating the development of the agricultural industry in the region.
