Egypt and Brazil conclude strategic partnership on the margins of the G20 summit
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his Brazilian counterpart Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva held a bilateral meeting on the margins of the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro.
The leaders discussed regional and global issues, reaffirming a shared commitment to reforming international institutions and ensuring sustainable development. This is reported by

The signed joint statement enshrines the strategic partnership between the countries, covering politics, economy, culture, science, tourism and agriculture. The two sides will develop a detailed action plan to implement the agreements.
President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi thanked Brazil for inviting Egypt to participate in the G20 events. For its part, the Brazilian side highlighted Egypt’s contribution to supporting the interests of developing countries in the framework of the G20 meetings.
The G20 summit
kicked off on 18 November in Brazil. According to Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, more than 40 countries will participate in the G20 summit.
