Closing ceremony of the educational expedition to be held in Delhi

During the event, the volunteers, organisers and partners of the programme will talk about the peculiarities of the past expedition

From 27 September to 25 October, the educational expedition of the International Programme “Russian Language Ambassadors in the World” is being held in India for the first time. TV BRICS is the media partner of the event.

During the month, the volunteers held interactive classes in the Russian language, culture and literature for Indian schoolchildren and students in the following educational organisations:

–  Jawaharlal Nehru University (Delhi);

–  BPS Women’s University (Sonipat, Haryana);

– Jamia Millia Islamia University (Delhi);

– Delhi University (Delhi);

–  Jai Narain Vyas University (Jodhpur, Rajasthan);

–  Bluebells International School (Delhi);

–  DPS Dwarka School (Delhi).

On Monday, 23 October at 14.30 Delhi time (at 12.00 Moscow time), the expedition will be closed at Jawaharlal Nehru University (Delhi) with online connection from the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute (Moscow).

During the event, volunteers, organisers and partners of the programme will talk about the features of the accomplished educational expedition.

Two ambassadors of the Russian language, as well as the head and methodologist of the programme, a specialist of the Pushkin Institute, went on the expedition. More than 400 Indian schoolchildren and students took part in educational activities of Russian volunteers.

The expedition was financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation within the framework of the subsidy “In order to implement activities within the framework of international cooperation, including those carried out under the decision of the President of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Russian Federation”.
