President Droupadi Murmu emphasized that the students’ contribution to the university will play a crucial role in the development of roads, buildings, dams, and factories through the utilization of advanced technology. This is reported by

She emphasised that they, as engineers, would play a key role in the progress of the country. She also noted that students will serve as a bridge between ideas and reality in their role as innovators.
Murmu laid special emphasis in her speech on India’s aspiration to become a developed country by 2047 and new technologies can accelerate this process.
The President stressed the importance of striving for excellence not only for personal gain but also for the progress of the nation, with inclusive development aimed at the welfare of all humanity.
