Chinese digital human trainers help AI better serve people

The purpose of such training is to improve observation and understanding of human behaviour

At the moment, a digital human can comment on outfits and sing at the trainer’s request. A team of experts is working on optimising the training data to make the digital person more intelligent and erudite.

Fan Wei, a Chinese Academy of Personnel Science researcher, said, “We have a very large demand for technical skills in applied artificial intelligence because there are many application scenarios.”

Since 2022, China has started trying to identify digital occupations, and 97 new digital occupations have been included in the updated occupational classification. This is reported by
CGTN, a partner of TV BRICS.

A further nine digital occupations are expected to be added in 2024, demonstrating the continued growth and need for these professionals in the rapidly evolving digital economy.
