China to help build digital Africa
The government of the Asian nation plans to facilitate trade between its own businesses and its partners in Africa
Jin Zhuanglong, Chinese minister of industry and information technology, stated that China will keep assisting the nations of Africa in creating a digital Africa. This is reported by
Xinhua News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS.
The official said that Chinese enterprises will be supported in seeking partnerships in areas such as mobile communication, data centres, submarines, and terrestrial cables.
The minister stated that China plans to encourage cooperation with African partners in digital technologies, including high-performance computing, network security, 5G and 6G, and quantum connections. Joint platforms would be promoted to increase the capability of businesses, think tanks, and academic institutions, he continued.
