China forms the world’s first field test network for 6G connections
It can effectively lower the entry threshold for sixth-generation connectivity research
Chinese telecommunications experts have formed the world’s first field test network for the sixth-generation wireless connection technology, 6G. This was reported by
Xinhua News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS.
The experiments demonstrated that semantic connections can achieve 6G throughput on existing 4G infrastructure.
Researchers from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications said that the network has improved 10 times the basic indicators of connection, including its efficiency, coverage, and capacity.
It is noted that China will move to the commercial use of 6G technology for digital cellular networks around 2030. 6G standards are expected to be developed around 2025.
