China aims to strengthen collaboration with prosecuting agencies of SCO member states
Ying Yong China’s procurator-general, announced plans for increased collaboration between Chinese prosecutors’ offices and other SCO member countries
The cooperation will focus on fighting crime, improving people’s well-being, addressing financial crimes, improving business conditions, and protecting the environment. This is reported by

Ying highlighted the effective utilization of the SCO’s resources by procuratorial agencies to combat terrorism, separatism, extremism, and transnational crime, as well as their role in protecting corporate interests, the environment, and the rights of minors.
The procurator general emphasized the need for enhanced collaboration to address challenges and seize opportunities. China and SCO member countries are committed to modernizing and establishing a collaboration mechanism among prosecutors’ offices in border regions, as well as promoting the qualitative development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
China’s procuratorates prioritize the punishment of crimes, the protection of human rights, and the oversight of law enforcement and judicial organizations to ensure fairness and impartiality. Equal protection for market participants and safeguarding intellectual property rights are also crucial.
Ying called on SCO prosecution agencies to establish a mechanism for exchanging views and addressing key issues as part of the modernization process.
