Chilean President establishes trade agreements with UAE during official visit

The southern country will have access to 97% of the Emirates’ export products

President of Chile, Gabriel Boric, stressed that his presidential trip to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was commercially productive. During his official visit, the Chilean president held talks with businessmen, representatives and trade organisations. This is reported by
Cronica Digital, a partner of TV BRICS.

Boric met with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in addition to chairing a forum focused on economic investment, accompanied by officials from Chile’s commercial sector.

Among the achievements, the President highlighted the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between Chile and the UAE, where the southern nation will have access to 97 per cent of the Emirates’ export products, including mining, different services, food, among others.

The commercial arrangements contemplate the UAE’s influence in the Middle East and North East Africa for cooperation relations with Chile.
