The main event of the expert track of Russia’s BRICS Chairmanship in 2024, the
BRICS Academic Forum, will be held in Moscow on 22-24 May. The event is being organised by the BRICS Expert Council.

The forum will be held under the motto “BRICS: New Figures on the World Chessboard” and will bring together more than 200 representatives of the expert community of the group’s countries. TV BRICS is the international media partner of the event.

The participants of the event will discuss approaches to addressing pressing issues of global governance, formulate proposals to strengthen cooperation in the group, and work out ways to further develop cooperation at all levels. They will focus on assessing the progress made by the BRICS countries on issues of mutual interest.

The forum will result in recommendations for the BRICS Heads of State Summit to be held in Kazan in October.
