Artificial intelligence increases countries’ GDP
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Ministers of Science, Technology, and Innovation emphasised the necessity of collaboration in order to fully utilise artificial intelligence (AI). This is reported by

The substantial potential of AI as a crucial component of technical advancement and innovation was acknowledged by attendees of the 20th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Science, Technology, and Innovation, which took place on June 7.
According to experts, artificial intelligence will have a significant impact on the ASEAN economy, which will potentially lead to an increase in GDP of 10–18 per cent and amount to approximately US$1 trillion by 2030.
On this occasion, an AI Management Working Group was established within the framework of the ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Digital Technologies.
The source also claims that the group’s goal is to address current issues, including the management of generative AI, and to promote the safe, responsible, and ethical use of technology.
