This is the first event of the G20 thematic seminars

A workshop has been launched in New Delhi to discuss and promote cooperation between India and the African Union (AU) for a better inclusive world. This is reported by the official website of the Indian Government.

This event is part of a series of seminars organised by the National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog) on various topics outlined in the The G20 Leaders’ Declaration in New Delhi will focus on three sessions, which will cover various topics including cooperation between India and the African Union (AU) for an inclusive world, the development of sustainable and resilient infrastructure, and management of migration. The objective of these sessions is to encourage dialogue, exchange of ideas, and the identification of potential areas for future collaboration between India and the AU.

Distinguished speakers from various fields, including diplomats, academics, and think tanks, will participate in the workshop. The discussions will focus on generating concrete ideas, policy recommendations, and a roadmap for a more inclusive and sustainable future.

This workshop is part of a broader initiative to address key themes outlined by the G20, and it provides a valuable opportunity for government officials, experts, academics, and civil society representatives to contribute to the development of cooperative strategies between India and the AU.
